The ZRH Foundation is proud to present the Grammy-nominated blues guitar phenom JD Simo at Casey’s Pub at the KC Columbia Center in Springfield, IL. Renowned as a contemporary torchbearer of the blues who defies easy genre categorization, the Chicago-born Nashville transplant blends elements of psychedelic rock, funk, rock, free jazz, and traditional blues into a unique sound fully his own. He’s worked with the likes of Jack White, Tommy Emmanuel, Luther Dickinson, and Blackberry Smoke, given electric performances at Bonnaroo, Warren Haynes Christmas Jam, and Mountain Jam, and was hand-picked by music supervisor David Cobb to record all of the guitars in Baz Luhrmann’s recent blockbuster biopic Elvis. Donations will support the ZRH Foundation’s 2024 Youth Music Therapy Scholarship Fund in partnership with Music Therapy Connections of Springfield, IL.
